1905 Trojan Laundry and Custom Shirt Factory Advertising Envelope

Great illustrated advertising envelope from the Trojan Laundry and Custom Shirt Factory in Detroit, Michigan. The cover is postmarked April 25, 1905 from Detroit. The front of the cover is pretty nice, but it's the type elements on the back that really caught my attention.

Undated photo from the Burton Historical Collection of the Detroit Public Library

1909 The Hub Advertising Postcard

1909 advertising postcard from The Hub Clothing Store. Henry C. Sytton was the president. The card was produced by Alfred Holzman Company. The illustration on the front is very J.C. Leyendecker like, but I'm pretty positive it's not by him. I've found a few entries online for clothing stores called "The Hub" in different locations. The photo below, dated 1932 is from Madison, Wisconsin and has the same logo as the front postcard.

1902 American Trouser Company Advertising Envelope & Letterhead

Amazing illustrated advertising envelope and letterhead from the American Trouser Company Inc., located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The envelope is double postmarked with one on July 3rd from Indianapolis and another from New York City on July 5th. Even though the letterhead states that the were the largest exclusive trousers manufacturers in America, there is very little information on the company on the web.

Great real photo postcard showing Schultz the Tailor. Not sure if any of the four men shown is actually H. Schultz. The card does have a stamp on the back but never appears to have been mailed becuase there's no postmark. The Benjamin Franklin stamp on the back was issued in 1902-1903.
